Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

Happy 1/2 Birthday!

Shaelyn turned 6 months old this week (Tuesday to be exact), and she is now officially a big girl! Ok, she's still got a long way to go, but she has finally eaten food in a semi-solid form (rice cereal), and her favorite new things to do are to play peek-a-boo with Daddy, get up on her hands and knees anytime you put her down (crawling is coming...), take baths, and play with other babies. Look what I can do!


So I've gotten video happy lately, but since Shaelyn is more active than she's ever been, it's a more fun way of documenting her life than still pictures. So I thought in honor of her 1/2 birthday, I'd put up some videos of Shaelyn doing her favorite things. Enjoy!
