Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

Rachelle Corinne Aagard

Rachelle Corinne Aagard arrived into the world at 11:44 a.m. on Friday, January 30. She is happy, healthy, and absolutely beautiful. She was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 19 3/4 in. long.

There was quite a frenzy preceding her arrival, which I'm sure Shelley will describe in great detail in a subsequent post soon. She is quite exhausted but recovering well. We will also post plenty of new pictures. Here are a few taken with my cell phone.
