Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

November Update

Yes, I'm back in town. Yes, I had a good trip. Yes, the girls were good on the plane. And yes, I'm doing ok. Thanks for asking. I have great friends.

I updated my daily journal. More posts are coming. In the meantime, I'm busy. Busy teaching preschool twice a week. Busy keeping up with a baby who walks more and more every day (across the living room floor today). Busy with end-of-the-year, holiday frenzy. And busy being happy.

My life is really good right now.
