Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

Now and the Future

At 29 weeks preggo, here's what I look like NOW:


And here's what I'll look like in the not-too-distant FUTURE:


And on a side note, Shaelyn is also pregnant with her own baby she has named Pinky. Pinky kicks and causes her pain. She'll grimace and groan from time to time. Today in the car she gasped and sucked in a lot of air. I thought something was wrong. No, it was Pinky.

"Mom, my tummy is getting hard and squeezing. I'm having a triction.
(Yep, you guessed it - a contraction!)
I need to push this baby out of me!"

If that doesn't tell you about my pregnancy, I don't know what will.
