Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

Shaelyn and the Purple Crayon

Michael is convinced that Shaelyn's profile looks just like Harold from Harold and the Purple Crayon. Do you remember this book? Harold has a purple crayon and goes through the house drawing on the wall. He never lifts his crayon, but he ends up drawing a whole city in basically one line. But he is on the cover of the book in a profile position - his nose is turned up and he has huge cheeks. Everytime Michael sees a profile picture of Shaelyn, he shouts "Harold"! I'm afraid Shaelyn is going to have a gender crisis! So now it's up for you to decide -- does Shaelyn look like Harold?
