Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

Shampoo Fun

The best part about having hair is being able to make shampoo mohawks! Or that's what I think at least. Shaelyn finally has enough hair to make shampooing much more fun for Mommy, so of course I had to capture my wonderful hair art.

Doesn't she look cute with a mohawk? Love that little nakie baby!
We also have two new videos to share. Shaelyn has a little "grow with me" baby gym that we just transitioned into a standing keyboard for her. It plays four notes (which I identified with my flute to be C, E, G, and C) and lights up when you hit the buttons. It's great for a little girl who loves to stand and pat things. So of course we captured the video for you to see:
Shaelyn has also learned a new consonant sound: "m". This has resulted in her saying what every mother wants to hear, "Mama". Although it's really "mamamamamamama" and it means nothing to her, still it melts my heart. Enjoy!
