Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

Have you seen this?

For those of my readers outside my local circle of friends, you probably have not yet been to the funniest blog around. You don't know what you're missing. Once you become a fan, you'll be checking every day hoping that there's another post to make you bust your gut laughing! Go ahead, go back in the archives and read the old posts. You won't be disappointed.



The funniest post by far -- a unique commentary on the Twilight series. (Be sure to read all the comments as well - some funny stuff there too.) I've never posted my feelings on the series here on my blog, but let me tell you, it's possible that I love this series even more than I love Harry Potter, and I never thought that was possible. Ok, I don't really think that I do, but I'm not afraid to admit that I am one of the thousands of women in love with Edward Cullen. Michael of course rolls his eyes every time I bring him up. But when his name comes up in a conversation with other women, I find more closeted Edward fans all the time! I only have one friend who does not love the books, much less Edward, and I seriously question her sanity (I'm looking at you, Nicolle!). If you're looking for a great romance/suspense novel, I highly recommend it. (I know my friend Memer will never read these books, just like she never read HP, but common Memer! You're only depriving yourself!!!)
