Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

Adorable Rachelle

Up next: My adorable Rachelle! (And a little sneak peek at Michael and myself as well...)

There is just something about teeny tiny toddlers in jeans. You know what I mean. Between the jeans, her sweater, and the fact that she actually let me pull her hair back, and the little whisps of hair flipping out in back, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything cuter!

She was mostly cooperative for family photos, only getting up and walking out on one group shot. But since her big sister wasn't being cooperative during these shots either, they just highlight Rachelle's cute little personality. That, and I got to pinch her bum at the end.

I just love this little person that is emerging from the baby she is leaving behind. Even when she's fed up with pictures and letting us know it, she's still so cute. And looks just like I did at her age - when I would pitch a fit, too!

I'm so glad she's a part of our family. I can't imagine life without her!
