Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

That's not a knife!

Since moving here to Greensboro, we have made so many wonderful friends that I wanted to highlight them in this entry. That's not to knock on our friends we made before moving to Greensboro - we love you guys and miss you like crazy! But this is the first time since living in married housing at BYU that we have had a real group of friends that we can hang out with on a consistent basis. For some people (like my parents), having a group of friends isn't a life necessity. For me, the always social butterfly, it definitely increases my level of happiness in life. And we have been blessed with such wonderful friends. It's been great to have them be a part of our lives as we've transitioned into parenthood. For me, life's sweetest moments seem sweeter when you're sharing them with others. So to all those friends out there, you know who you are, thanks for being a part of our lives! We don't have a picture of everyone, but I wanted to put up some of the pictures we've taken with our friends. And if you don't see a picture of you on here, come over because I need a picture of you!

We had some friends over to play Clue. Nicolle, Jeremy, and Erika are all holding weapons. I'm holding a Clue detective pad, trying to figure out "whodunnit". Greg and Clara are just happy that Greg and Nicolle won our two games. Nicolle is holding the knife and was using her best Crocodile Dundee voice, hence the title of the blog.

Me and my best girlfriend, Kelly, at PF Changs. Yum!

Shaelyn and my girlfriend from Winston, Andrea.

Shaelyn and her favorite friend, Erika.

Michael's friend from business school, Catherine. She's a Frenchie.

My bestest friend, Becca, who lives in Phoenix. Sorry, Bex, this is the best one I had!

Jenni & Joe - friends from Michael's work. Jenni's having a little girl in June!

My friend from work, Renada, visited Shaelyn at the hospital.

Our friend from church, Greg. Look at how tiny Shaelyn looks in his gigantic hands!
