Women are like lionesses at the gate of the home. . . . She guards that gate, and things matter to that family if they matter to her. . . . Sisters, you are each like the lioness at the gate. This means that there has to be some prioritizing. I was taught years ago that when our priorities are out of order, we lose power. If we need power and influence to carry out our mission, then our priorities have to be straight.

Slacker

I wrote 5 posts in the month of August. Really? Just 5 posts? Now granted, I was home 10 whole days the whole month. But I had this idea that being at my parents' house was going to be a vacation - for me. That I was going to be able to FINALLY create that website with all my supplemental reading I offer in my Sunday School class. That I was going to blog every day about the fun things we were doing in AZ so Michael could see pictures of his girls. That I was going to capture every happy moment, happy story, happy memory that my little family was creating.

So I was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Being at my parents' house was fun (but exhausting). Being at the beach was fun (but exhausting). And if I had a chance to even look at a computer while away from home, it was a rare treat.

So now I'm home. And it's September. A new month. A fresh start. A chance to get back into a rhythm. Which will hopefully include a lot of blogging. So keep checking back...
